Car brands of the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group
CEVT is fully owned by the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. The group encompasses a range of renowned global car brands with different characteristics and audiences. The consumer car brands include Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Volvo Cars, Polestar, Proton and Lotus. Commercial vehicle brands include London Electric Vehicle Company (previously known as London Taxi) and YuanCheng Auto.
CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Holding Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
The Geely Group
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) is a global automotive group that owns several well- known international automotive brands, with operations spanning the automotive value chain, from research, development and design to production, sales and servicing.
Founded in 1986 by Li Shufu, the company’s Chairman, in the city of Taizhou in China’s Zhejiang province, Geely Holding launched its automotive business in 1997 and is now headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The Group comprises three businesses: Geely Automobile Group, Volvo Car Group and Geely Commercial Vehicles Company.
Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is now the world’s 12th largest automotive group, and has been listed in the Fortune 500 for the past five years.
